First created in 2002 by Douglas Ankrak but made famous at his LAB Bar in London, the Pornstar Martini has quickly become one of the UK's favourite cocktails.
This easy to make vodka cocktail is a guaranteed to impress your friends with its full frontal sweet passion fruit and prosecco shot glass served on the side. Don't forget the indulgent garnish as the aroma it offers when drinking is all important.
Don't worry if you don't have vanilla-infused vodka or any vanilla syrup, simply add a few drops of vanilla essence. For a decent twist, try substituting the Blue Duck Vodka for Black Robin Gin and add another complexity to the flavour profile.
Halve the passion fruits, scoop out 3 halves and add to a cocktail shaker and muddle. Use the end of a wooden spoon if you don't have a cocktail muddler.
Add the Blue Duck Vodka, syrup and lime with ice and shake well.
Using a hawthorne strainer over the mouth of the shaker and a fine mesh strainer, double strain into a chilled martini glass.
Garnish by floating the remaining half of the passion fruit.
Accompany with a shot glass of prosecco.
